In response to Cardinal Thomas Collins’ plea for donation to support the “Family of Faith Campaign”, Knights of Columbus donated $15,000 from their Charity Fund which is formed from the money raised in the Knights’ Night in the past two years. In addition to donating under the name of Knights of Columbus, we also encourage brother knights to personally donate according to their financial abilities, with the hope of encouraging other parish groups and parishioners to donate generously so that Cardinal Thomas Collins’ pastoral plan can be fulfilled early. Our Council joined hands with the Pro-Life Group of our parish, participating in the annual March for Life held in Ottawa on May 8, 2014. We were led by Fr. Dominic Hoang who is also a fourth degree knight. It was very touching that a mother brought her new born baby to the March and the baby was inside her womb when she participated in the March last year.
